Congratulations to our Vice President in Charge of Hiring Really Talented People Debbie Culeton who was named “Women in Business Champion of the Year” by the Victor Local Development Corporation at an awards ceremony held yesterday.
The award recognizes an individual who has fulfilled a commitment to the advancement of women’s business ownership through legislative and regulatory involvement; legal, financial or managerial assistance; volunteer efforts; and advocacy.
In addition to her work here at Info Directions, Debbie’s commitment to improving the economic well being of job seekers and employers in our region has led to an appointment as Board Chair for theFinger Lakes Workforce Investment Board and a position on the Governance Board and Steering Committee for the Finger Lakes Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development partnership.
The partnership between business and government has never been more important. Advocacy plays a crucial role in bringing new opportunities to our region.
