Our quiet office is looking for a friendly professional individual to answer calls and greet visitors on a part-time basis. This position has the ideal part-time schedule of 4-5 hours per day Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. No weekend or evening hours required! The receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company in welcoming guests, directing phone calls, and distributing correspondence. Our quiet environment allows for ample time to complete additional clerical tasks.

  • Answer telephone in a timely manner, determine nature of call and relay information or route call as appropriate.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and/or escort to appropriate office location.
  • Maintain office security and procedures.
  • Appropriately and accurately prepares and distributes routine correspondence.
  • Coordinates courier and mail service pick-ups and delivery (e.g FedEx, UPS).
  • Liaison with landlord regarding internal facilities requests.
  • Assists departments with mailings, faxes, data entry, and other projects.
  • Schedule conference rooms, setup for meetings, and order catering as needed.
  • Create physical and virtual signage and banners for office and company intranet.


  • High School Diploma and/or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently due to customer contact.
  • Tech savviness to operate computer-based phone system.
  • Proven track record of being punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees in the company.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint).
  • Graphic design, photo editing knowledge a plus.
  • Must demonstrate the utmost discretion with confidential information.


Position is open for local candidates based out of our Victor, NY location. Work will be performed in office 20-25 hours per week.
